Thursday, January 17th 6-8pm Intro to Embroidery @ SPACE 519

from 55.00

Thursday, January 17th 6:00-8:00PM

Join us at SPACE 519, the chicest retail spot in the Gold Coast, for an intro to embroidery. There's a rich history of embroidery in the United States and I love looking back to the stories of how women and education and embroidery meet. First, you’ll pick out a pre-designed piece of fabric. I have images of food, plants, flowers, and more for you to choose from. Then, I’ll show you three common embroidery stitches to fill it all in. Note, you likely will not finish it during our time together, but you’ll have all the skills and materials to keep working at home.

This is certainly a labor of love and will keep your hands occupied during all of the Netflix binges. Its the perfect craft to take home and work on this Winter!

(Valet available for $16)
